Bet Types
Here is how the Daily 5 bet types work. Each wager option has different rules for matching the winning numbers, allowing you to play for exact order, any order, or a near-miss sequence.
Straight - Match all five numbers in the exact order drawn to win the top prize.
Box - Match the five drawn numbers in any order. Depending on repeating digits, you can play a 5-way, 10-way, 20-way, 30-way, 60-way, or 120-way Box. For example, picking five different numbers (like 1-2-3-4-5) creates a 120-way Box with 120 winning combinations.
Wheel - Place a $1 Straight bet on every possible order of your five numbers. You win the full Straight prize if your numbers match in any order. The total ticket cost depends on the number of combinations, ranging from 5-way to 120-way.
2-Way - Splits a $1 wager into two $0.50 bets: one Straight and one Box. You win the larger prize for an exact match, or a smaller payout for matching in any order.
1-Off - Win if your five numbers match the exact sequence drawn or if one of your numbers is off by one digit, higher or lower.
